Kando Bando Live-In-Studio
Wednesday, March 11, 2009
Hey guys! Was thinking about what to post next, and well, we had these sitting on my computer after one of the places we busk at asked us to record some live songs that aren't on our CD. So they could play our music in the store, while we play outside. So one afternoon the 4 of us hooked up in the studio and recorded these 7 songs, which we play out busking quite a bit among others. 4 of the 7 ARE NOT Family songs, So these are obviously not going on the blog for people to download and listen to. I just though someone might find it interesting to hear how we play them once or twice.
So again, here's Kando Bando "busking" style without Florence (shucks)
With Taka (bass, back vocal) Shun, (guitar, back vocal) Naoto (Keys) and Me (Vocal and Cajon/Hihat) with live recording's in the studio. Each channel made it separately into the computer and the tracks were mixed later and chopped into separate songs. Hope you find these fun and inspiring (The family songs I mean, ha)

Thats:
Walk a Mile
Hey Jude
Hotel California
Love is the Sweetest Thing
Come Together
Funky Music
Time to Love

Again, you can download at my soundclick page, here.

I love "HihaUN ya hinaUN." You should like you're grunting something out.
You know how much your vocals amaze me these days.
Why did you try to put on a strange accent on purpose? Did you, by any chance, feel stupid talking into a microphone to no one? (Stop trying to make me do it.)

Hey, could you specify exactly which songs are non-Family? I recognise "Hotel Califorina", "Come Together", & "Funky Music" -but I don't know which one is the forth one. I need to know what NOT to download, ha. Thanks man.

z'aaall on my mp3 player...good stuff. I especially like Funky Music. That talking to nobody reminds me of how they did the Dropped Out album, just without the crowd noises. xD

man, you sound just like don henley in hotel california...prolly better. Very tempting to listen to it more than twice.

I'm looking forward to burning that rotten-veggies-colored hat.....!!!

Hey Jude would be the 4th (although that song was on "dad's old Favorites")...Still, It's system.
    Thanks all!
I will stay with my veggie hat forever and ever.

we were thinking of putting artifical "Jazz Club" type back ground noise in the tracks...But We'd feel like idiot's giving the demo to real people and saying it's live.

These are 1 takes? Couldn't be! You guys are too good! I'd definitely hire you if I could! heheh... you guys must be getting a lot more shows these days? Who's the main back-up..Taka? It don't register as Shun. I'm impressed with the back-ups(of course your main too :-)), it's tight and sounds good. Man, I wanna see you guys play!
Hey what about putting up just the family one for download? You're right though, the Family ones are the inspiring ones. TYJ for hot Family numbers!
